Call Center Agent to service for Cruise Line

Position Type: Customer Service

Work Commitment: 25-hours per week or more

Weekend Requirements: 4 hours worked on Sun. and/or Mon.

Schedule Availability: Everyday; 9AM – 9PM EST

Schedule Structure: Agent controls own schedule

Certification Availability: 5 Weeks; M-F; 4-hours/day

Location: Nationwide except CA, CT, MD, MA, NY, OR, WA, or WI

Pay Rate: $10.00-$12.50/hour

Job Details:

  • Assist with inbound calls to provide quotes, book a cruise, and answer questions for guests and travel agents
  • Document calls with detailed resolutions and follow-up actions
  • Transfer select calls to the appropriate support departments.
  • Provide knowledgeable, friendly and eloquent, customer service.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to remain resilient, project patience and empathy, and provide excellent service when dealing with stressful situations.
  • Self-disciplined to manage own schedule and adhere to it.
  • Ability to utilize multiple computer programs at the same time.
  • Exhibit professional, courteous, and friendly behavior.

  • Speed: Intel i-class (i5+ or equivalent)
  • Hard Drive: 64 GB usable memory or higher
  • RAM: 4 GB or higher

  • Dual Monitors

Headset (Suggestion)

  • USB VoIP Headset with built-in microphone

  • None

Ethernet Cord

  • Needed to connect from computer to modem

(2) A Desktop/Laptop with a Separate Monitor is recommended.

Internet Requirements:

  • Download Speed: 10 mbps or higher​​
  • Upload Speed: 3 mbps or higher

Alert: (1) Wireless connections are not allowed for security and quality assurance. A Hard-Wired Connection from Desktop/Laptop to Router/Modem with an Ethernet Cable is required. (2) Satellite, Microwave, and Cellular Hotspot Internet Services do not qualify.
